I've got Vienna Ensemble 2.0 build 2762 running on my quad-core Mac Pro with 5 gigs of RAM. I'm using DP to load up instances of the plugin. However, there are a few things that I keep running into.
1) When I start up Vienna Ensemble, it takes FOREVER to start. Maybe because I have the full Symphonic Cube and the system takes a while to scan all of my licenses? Whatever it is, it usually takes about 3 minutes before the actual VE window comes up.
2) Sometimes after loading up a saved project, I will get the message "Vienna Ensemble Service is not available" in the Vienna Ensemble Server Interface window. I have to click "Reconnect" for it to start working. Why?
3) Today I loaded up a project with 4 instances of VE in DP. It took approximately 10 minutes for the project to come up. But once it was up, I discovered each of the Vienna Ensemble instances were still stuck on the load screen ("Starting Vienna Ensemble"). No samples had loaded. So, I had to force quit each instance of VE.
I'm hoping I don't have to recreate my template from scratch, since it took me all day. I really like this software...when it works. Please let me know if there's anything I can be doing differently to make this thing work properly.
