Extended SE content - free trial?

Silly question: I am getting the SE standard edition tomorrow - am I right that I will get a free trial for the SE *extended* content? How long or how many goes do I get? If it is time limited can I choose when the trial period starts? - or does it automatically start as soon as I install? Thanks!

Hello Mark,

there is a Demo Code on each Vienna Key that gives you 180 starts for the Extended Library, yes 😊

If you are using a different Syncrosoft Key (Steinberg, Arturia...), you can request your Demo Code at activate@vsl.co.at

Thanks Paul. Just one last quick question - sorry! - once I enter the demo code and start my 180 starts trial does that mean every time I open VI it counts as a start, whether I load any of the extended content in that session or not, or is it only when I load the extended content that it counts as a start. I only ask because I want to avoid wasting my 180 extended starts in sessions where I am still just getting familiar with the standard content! :) Thanks again!

I may be wrong, but I don't think that this is likely to matter, as you only have it for 30 days. If you run out of starts before the 30 days is up, then contact support and ask for an extension. You might get it.[:)]
