    I'd like to create a speed-controlled three-way legato violin patch with a parallel cell holding a staccato patch.  Then I want to be able to effectively shut the staccato patch on and off (ideally I'd be able to control the volume of the staccato patch from 0 to full with a cc).  I realize that if I could load the staccato patch into the upper slot of the parallel cell and a "silent patch" into the lower slot and activate crossfade, I could achieve this using the "cell xfade" function.

    Is there a "silent patch" included somewhere in the Cube?  Or is there some other way to do this that I'm missing? I realize I could crossfade between a legato patch and a staccato patch, but the effect is slightly different.

    Hi Peter,

    how about in instrument with a lower range? Or simply use the octave transpose button in the "Cell Edit" window of the second patch [:)]
