  • Intending to buy VSL Special Edition. Some questions

Hi everybody!I'm glad to be here!

So, I am going to purchase VSL Special Edition(the standard version for start) and I have some questions:

    1. I already own many Steinberg products and already have a Syncrosoft key. Do I need another one for VSL or I can put my lisences on my existing key?

    2. Regarding the string sessions: Are they recorded samples with vibrato or non-vibrato?I am looking for an expressive sound so non-vibrato would not be the right for me at the moment.

    3. Is there a special price of any kind if I buy Standard and Extended libraries together?

Thank you in advance for any reply!

    Hi and welcome Domenico [:)],

you don´t need a Vienna Key if you already have a Steinberg Key. Please contact support@vsl.co.at if you need a Demo Code for your Steinberg Key (this way you can check out the Extended Library for 180 starts - the Demo Code is included on all ViennaKeys).

All string sustains in the Special Edition are with vibrato, and you have many ensemble sizes to choose from.

Check out the Tutorials on the Special Edition Demo #1!

There is no special deal on the Full Library (Standard & Extended Libraries), but you can upgrade anytime [;)]

    Best,

    Paul

  • Hello Paul,Thank you for the reply!

My VSL Special edition should arrive next week[:)]  I will definately get in contact for a demo lisence, since, as far as I am not mistaken the content of the Extended Edition is also installed on the hardrive when I get Standard Edition.

I suppose I won't have to use the PC where my library will be installed for the downloading of the lisences since this specific machine is not connected to the internet.

  • You are correct that you can download the licences on any PC connected to the Internet. You just have to plug in the dongle and run the LCC.
