I have downloaded the "ViennaInstrumentsSoftwareOSX-1.12-ppc" and it seems to go along well, but instead of completed dialog I get the cryptic message:
"Error during installation of the software-try installing again"
I can start both standalone and Ensemble but cant find any licenses or patches/matrices/presets.
The Lisence Controll Center finds my Strings and Special Edition licenses.
I´ve tried the DirectoryManager for both, no luck. Have repaired Disk Permission and I have tried zapping the PR RAM and disk-utility.
This happened after installing the VE (I installed without the USB-key in).
Anyone with a solution?

Update will not install: OSX-1.12-ppc, lost my samples.

Hi Trond,
please check the permission of your "Custom Data Folder" you find in your "user" folder (VI) and in "Macintosh HD/users/shared" (VE).
They should be set to "read&write".
Hope that helps!
Best,
Paul

Have checked. Seems ok. I have also run the Intel-update on my Mac Mini, and it all works well on that one. Trond

Hi Trond,
what happens if you install with your key attached?
Thanks,
Paul

Hi, I have tried that too. Also tried a manual uninstall and trashing preferences. It is the new 1.12 version that starts, but no lisences or samples. Trond
