  • Why is my soprano choir not working?

    Hello,

I use the soprano choir in a upcoming project, but I cannot hear anything. The piccolo trumpet license is present on the left ('the following licenses are installed...Brass II, piccolo trumpet). I can see the choir matrixes in the VSL-instrument I loaded some time ago. When I try to run the directory manager (rescan existing) it is ready in half a second. I can see the choir folder in the directory manager. When I try to add that folder once more in the directory manager I see the data greyed out. Apparently in the directory manager only the choir-folder is present without content? Is that possible?

    How to solve this problem?

    Greetings,

    Gerard

  • Hi Gerard,

I know that we should know the system specs of all users by heart.... but there are simply too many users [:)].

Could you please include that information, also, which VI version are you running?

    Thanks,

    Paul

  • Sorry Paul,

My system is: Mac Quad PPC, OS 10.4, Logic 7, latest version of VI, 1.12.

The choir did work some time ago, but now it doesn't anymore.

    Greetings,

    Gerard

  •  Hi Gerard,

Using the "Add" button in Directory Manager, you need to assign the exact folder actually containing the .dat files.

Please try to remove the Choir from Directory Manager and add it again by Drag&Drop directly from the finder to ensure that Directory Manager also detects nested folders!

    Does that solve the problem?

    Best, Marnix

  • Hi

Is there anywhere I can buy the VI choir?

    Thanks
    Simon

  • When it's finished and released, sure. Until then, no.
