    In the past I mostly used VI together with SONAR VI, now SONAR VII and Plogue Bidule.

    In installed VE & tested it with

    T.ALBINONI: concert.4.guitar.&.strings

    (guitar, solo.violin/2 violins/2 violas/1 Cellos/1 Doublebasses/

    I had to use BIDULE in any case, because the guitar runs under Kontakt 2

    1.)  7 instances of VI & 1 Kontakt 2 in Bidule 9.6

          Maximum CPU Power consumption.............. 22 %

    1.)  1 instances of VE & 1 Kontakt 2 in Bidule 9.6

          Maximum CPU Power consumption.............. 40 %

    I was really surprised:

    Hardware: Pentium D 3.00 GHZ, RAM 2.00 GBYTE

                    RME Fireface 800, Buffersize 512 Samples

    Software: Windows XP

    So I cannot see really an advantage of VE against VI & Bidule.

    What are your experiences?
