  • VI SE and Orchestral Strings I need advice Please ?

    Hi.

I hope all of you doing well..I owned VI SE and other stuff from vienna Ins. but I am looking for rich and sharp orchestral strings sound I owned strings appassionata strings it is really amazing but not what I am looking for ..I played  the orchestral strings ( violins strings) in VI SE it is really nice.My question Is if I buy Orchestral Strings I are the sounds similar to what in VI SE or different and more rich ?

    Best regards.

  • Hi there, as far as I know is that the strings in the VI SE have less articulations than the orchestral strings, the VI SE is something like the "best of" VSL, the sound between the different editions should be exactly the same, the orchestral strings have just more patches and articulations, but the sound is not more rich I guess. All the best christof

  • Only richer in the sense that you get more velocity layers.

But if you like the strings in SE then you should be very pleased with the myriad of articualtiosnand playing styles found in Orchestral Strings.
