    Wondering about Mac compatibility with Nuendo 4, as I have heard there is some new VST format or something in Nuendo and just want to be sure.....thanks Tom

    Tom, the included plugs in N4 are VST3, but AFAIK there is no problem loading VI or other VST2 plugs. There are a couple of changes to the way it handles the plugs, but probably nothing that will matter with a Mac.

    Tread very slowly. I can't remember what machine you are using, but there are performance problems ATM with the 8 core Mac Pro. It is the same with 8 core Windows machines, but just worse on OSX. Certainly a maintenance update will fix it, but not necessarily the next maintenance update.

    No such luck as having an 8 core....I have a Mac Pro Dual 2G with 6 G Ram...... Logic 8 has been running very well on it.... Tom
