  • Chamber-Strings; DoubleBass: Missing Note (G#)

In some patches of the 2-Double-Basses there is one note missing (G#) is there yet an update, which provides also the missing note?

  • We have to know the patchnames and which G# is missing: G#1, G#2, G#3 (middle c=c4)

So far we didn't detect or got any reports about missing G# in chamber bass patches,

therefore there are no fixes available.

Maybe you have placed any keyswitch controller on a G#?

A/B switch, vertical or horizontal cell switches, or most likely a Matrix switch.

In this case the keyswitch controller is overuling and you won't get any sample playback on this keys.

  • In fact the key-switch was assigned to that g#2, and i didn't was aware of that... Thanks for resolving my problem!

  • Hi Herb, I think this question came up before but would it be possible to color-code the Instrument range on the VI keyboard? It would also be nice to have the keyswitches color-coded a different color from the key range as well. Then, when a keyswitch is mapped to a key in the instrument range use yet a 3rd color. That way we can see all the mapping of the range and switches immediately for the active patch in the matrix. Would be especially helpful on percussion patches. Thanks, David

  • [Y] I've been wanting this, too, for a long time. Color coding for keyswitches would be great!![:)]

  • Yeah thats a good idea .. one thing I miss about the EXS version is that I could see where everything was. And Colour coding would solve the problem.
