    Hi. I have installed App. the folders are in my application. Do I nned to assign them to a different location for better performance. Thnks

    You shouldn't really put your system and samples on the same physical drive. Best thing to do is copy the samples to another drive and then use Directory Manager so that the VI player can locate them.

But i need the firewire port to use http://www.yamahasynth.com/products/n8n12/index.html and the PCI32 sonnet fire wire with http://www.tcelectronic.com/powercorex8.asp so no more firewire. my internal drive is the 7200 rpm on the mac book pro. i just wanted to make sure if i can leave the library in the application folder and not some whwre else lke my document,

    It doesn't really matter where you put the samples on your internal drive. It's just plain wrong.....! However, if you don't get system issues or pops and clicks, then I guess you will have got away with it. If you do, then you know what to do.
