  • Can´t install my new VSL Strings please help !

Hopefully someone has a solution, I mean there must be one. I recieved my Orch Strings I & II today and after a great deal of messing around I managed to get my music PC to recognise the fact that the instruments were registered. By looking in the Syncrosoft Licence control I could see both on my Internet PC and my music PC that all was correct. Everytime I tried to install the library I got a not registered message, but........ after a short while my PC started the istalling process much to my delight.
After installing some 56% I got a message that the datei was corrupt, super! Christian Marin informed this is because the DVD drive gets too hot? So what can I do? I tried installing after some hours having shut down the PC so it would be cool, I directed also a high speed electric fan into the works and it managed to install a couple of percent more and then "Corruption Message" I don´t think the members here installed during the winter months so the question is, HOW DID YOU DO IT ? How did other members install the software? Not too happy right now, my first experience with VSL has been an absolute pain. Any help would be very gratefully received. Many thanks. [:(]

  • I would suggest that you copy the dvd's onto your desktop and install from there. That would be your best bet. Give your Dvd drive 5 minutes in between each disk just to be safe.

  • Papabear, if your still having trouble installing the library, you can also try updating the firmware for your dvd drive.

  • I think the problems are already solved.
