Lol. Now you'd better hope the Pony Express is working, and the injuns are sleeping.

  • When is it arriving at Ilio's?

  • I could have gotten my arrival today but I didn't because I didn't realize Ilio needed a confirmation from me! Darn it [:P]! Now, I will have to wait till Monday to try this baby out!

Don't get over excited, it could be a loooooooooooong install; you might get to play with it by Tuesday if you're lucky [:D]

I got the call from Ilio myself the other day. Since I'm swamped with a project, I opted for ground shipment because I won't be able to get around to it before next weekend. The QuantumView notice informed me that it will be delivered on March 1. I'm excited to get it up and running.

I'm sort of thinking I should install it on a disk for safe keeping, and then transfer it to the computer disk where it will be actually used. Considering the size of this library, if you were in the middle of a project and a drive with a good part of the library went down, it would be a real nail biter working against the clock to get things re-installed.

I agree and will probably do the same thing, so all I would have to do is change the drive, rescan and I'm up and running. I'll have to see how that plays out over the next few weeks.
