    Under the system requirements for Opus 1 it says:

    TASCAM GigaSampler/ GigaStudio v2.5 or higher and GigaCompatible soundcard (Win)

    I assume the GigaCompatible soundcard isn't necessarily necessary with a ReWire compatible DAW though.

    True. GigaTeleport is also a way to circumvent this. However I don't know of any non-Giga-compatible soundcard - it's a matter of latency though if you don't have GSIF drivers and use Giga standalone.

    Ok, cool..

    So, would I be able to run Opus 1 ok with Giga in rewire mode (to Sonar 5 studio edition) without a GSIF compatible soundcard?
