    Greetings!

    I was just reading the great Beat's Tutorial and at the same time trying to follow the recommendations in my sequencer. In the second chapter he discusses the surround pan needed to "monoize" and effectively pan the instruments in Cubase and Logic. But I have Sonar 3. It seems I read somewhere that Sonar 4 has that feature, but I cannot upgrade at this point. Does anybody know how to near-mono sound files in Sonar 3? Thanks

    You could try the free mda Stereo Image VST effect for that. Visit http://www.mda-vst.com/ for it. I use it all the time with great results in Sonar.
