    Hi,

    I really like the espr. Violins of the chamber-strings, but couldn´t find something similar in the violins-section of the pro-edition.

    Does something similar exist in the pro edition?

    The espressivo patch of the Chamber Strings was primary designed for layering with other string patches - and especially to layer with Pro/First Edition strings

    Wouldn´t I have to many first violins playing, when I add VI-6L_sV-espr to my VI-14_sus?

    If you see it from a very dogmatic point of view: yes, of course. If you're just heading for more colours in your acoustic palette and use this option with care: no! Many of our users take advantage of these possibilities with extremely convincing results.

    Try it the other way around, too: Do 3x6 violins playing one note (maybe different patches) sound the same as the 14vln patch on that note? I'd bet not.
