    I want to buy VSL but need advice please.

    I have Apple Powerbook 1.25Ghz with 2GB RAM and 80GB Hard Drive. I have 2 250GB Firewire Drives. I also have Sibelius 3, Pro Tools Digi 002 and Logic 7.

    What elements of VSL could my system function with?

    Also I am a keyboard player. Can I play from a MIDI keyboard straight into Pro Tools LE?

    Sometimes the spralling size of VSL can play hell with laptops. The Opus packages are more memory (and cost!) efficient and there is an upgrade path to the bigger things as your system grows so you really couldn't lose...

    Well, what are your interests and goals? Is it just guitars or a fully blown orchestral score or just a mockup of a string quartet? It's hard to use Opus for some crunchy guitar staccato's Martin [;)]
