  • VSL choir samples

Is VSL planning on releasing a set of Choir Samples with performance samples [*-)]:

  • They will have a choir. From what I heard not before Christmas though... And I have no idea how many samples or what features in case you want to ask about that [;)]

  • Really, there might be a VSL choir by the beginning of next year? That is quite exciting. Word building that works is key - but seeing as this is VSL .... ..... [H]

  • I have VOTA - which has been well used on projects. I haven't thought their new choir is worth the $1000 so I wait for a listen to VSL's solution. Really hoping this will be a homerun!

  • VOTA is very good but who does one strangle in regards to the pitiful trailer restriction?

The new EW choir has no such restriction, so you could "upgrade".

    DG

  • DG,

Yes I'm researching that at this moment. What's the cost and procedure - if you don't mind?

    Dave

  • Dave,

I could be wrong but I think for VOTA owners the upgrade path was 30% off. Maybe more now - not sure how it is selling?

    Rob

  • Until VSL releases their market-crushing, hard-drive demolishing choir library [:)] there are the EW choirs for adults, for now, but don't forget about Bela D Media's dedicated children's choir library, The Giovani Edition, including both ensemble and chamber boyschoirs and girlschoirs.

  • Good point Alan. The Gio Boys AND Girls choir is an outstanding 'young people's choir'. Super easy to work with as well using the VCU utility (for forming unigue phrases and sung passages).

    Rob

  • Thanks Rob, I'm looking into it.

Also will look into your library Alan although I need the big trailer sound presently.
