  • Release Trigger with strings

    Hello,

Have I to hold the trigger key after playing note ? or before ?

    Thank you

  • The release "trigger" is a sample that gets played when you let go of the key. You should be able to hear it quite clearly.

    Do I misunderstand the question?

  • SyQuEsT,

Sorry to say, but you are making a bad impression here (I say it friendly [:D] )

What VSL product(s) do you have, have you read the manual(s) and what do you want to accomplish with the strings that "triggers" this question?

  • Yes, I know that. But when I hold trigger key with strings, I just heard the release note. On another patch (i.e. Clarinet), I heard the sustain note too. Have I to hold the release key after a note or just before I release ?

    Thanks

  • Peter,

I have VSL Orchestra and Performance Set First Edition and Pro Edition, I have Overdrive, soon I will have Woodwind Ensemble, French Oboe and maybe chamber string.

I asked it because I didn't really take the time to find it (so many project to do ... with VSL, of course)

It's just me ... not the VSL team [:)]
