These come up almost daily:
1) A BYPASS/THRU keyswitch (to play chords on the normal non-legato layers) NOTE: Of course there should be no octave shifting when keyswitching to BYPASS mode. Maybe this mode would best be described as NON-LEGATO mode instead of BYPASS.
2) True MONOPHONIC keyboarding technique/behaviour (ie: a held down note gets reattacked if another playing note is released and the held down note is still being held down)
3) A RESET keyswitch (just in case the tool isn't perfect or in cases of rare problems where hitting reset would be great)
A fourth suggestion relates solely to the EXS Performance Tool:
4) Some method of calling up the currently selected EXS instrument's PERFORMANCE TOOL via a computer keyboard command (to avoid having to go through nested windows)
