    Hi all,

    I have been using Sound Forge on my windows machine, but now that I am getting into the Mac side of things, I am wondering if there is a comparable/similar piece of software available for Mac. Anyone have any suggestions?

    Bias' "Peak" and t.c.'s "Spark".

    Both have their strenghts and their weak points, and neither the one nor the other sports the same visually relaxed, audio-wise extremely powerfull and versatile elegance of SoundForge.

    ... which, of course, is the private opinion of a SoundForge-user since about 10 years (... no, make that 12) ;-]

    Hi Dietz,

    Did you already upgrade from SF 6 to SF 7? Is there any advantage to upgrading? I didn't see any new, interesting feature and got the impression this upgrade was just to get the name Sony installed on your PC... [[;)]]

    No - actually I'm using 4.5 most of the time, as long as I can deal with 16 bit files ... (call me old-fashioned ...)

    wow, I thought one of the nice things in version 6 are the 32 bit FP files. Less detoriation when you do some plugin processing in a row.
