  • How does "Horizon" fit with the future "Symph

    Hello,

Congratulations on the Horizon series. The Vienna team has yet again opened the door to musical possibility, which is, of course, a wonderful thing.

My question is: I am a Pro Edition user who is very interested in the elements include in the Horizon series that are not included in the Pro Edition. I do understand that there will be a special DVD(s) made available, at a VIP price, of solo viola and bass, however, I am curious about the Concert Guitar, the Saxophones as well as the Stones and Glass and for the matter the Overdrive collection. Will these collections (some or all) be include in the Symphonic Cube? If so, do you advise that I wait to buy any or all of the collections that will be included in the Symphonic Cube? And finally, if I were to buy one of the collections (assuming that it were to be included in the Symphonic Cube) will I simply make some type of ‘data order’ when the Symphonic Cube is released, i.e., that which we do not have would be loaded onto a hard-drive and charged accordingly? I guess I am just wondering how the Horizon series fit in with the future Symphonic Cube and what you recommend I do in regards to upgrading.

    Thanks Jordan

  • Yes, please show us a chart of what instruments are in what libraries, such as this:

  • evan, this is what i would call a multiple posting [:P]

and remember: only a CRAY can run an endless loop in just three seconds.
  • I see Evan is really pushing for this comparison chart. [:)]
I think he's right though - we need to know what our upgrade options are.

    For example:
I currently have EXS24 versions (First Edition) of the Cube and Perf set. I'm thinking of getting the Pro Edition for EXS24 soon, but what will be missing from that set? (I mean, what instruments from the new Horizon series)

I imagine there will be some kind of VIP system which extends to the Horizon series as well......?

    Regards - Colin
