    [:'(]

Having big problems with my Waves AU plug-ins I did try to obtain support four times- on their regular site support - without receiving any kind of answer. Since I had to reinstall everything my Waves demo mode will run out in few days. I am wondering if some other uses did have similar experiences It is very surprisinfg for me, since using Waves plug-ins for more then 6 years, the support obtained from this company was always very good.

Here a copy of what is coming on screen while tryin to reregister:

... the programmers forgot to create an instance of an object (recordset or whatever) - write to the support or maintainer of the website, i'm sure they will be obliged to react

and remember: only a CRAY can run an endless loop in just three seconds.
  • If you are in a hurry, this problem can often be solved by using a different browser and/or a different platform. Go to a friend's house with a PC and try to access this page on his/her Internet Explorer.

As an ASP programmer of a major web business, I know that certain problems can be insitigated simply because someone is using an obscure browser or an obscure operating system (OSX anyone?).

  • ehhm, sorry evan, how will using a different browser running on the client force the server to create an object, which has simply been forgotten in the code?
    confused (as an asp-programmer), christian

  • First of all thank you very much for the feedback and for trying to help.

I think Christian was right, because it seams that the Waves team did correct the programming error (I did send them an angry mail [:O]ops: ) and now it does work. And, actually, it does work on all browsers which I do have installed: Explorer. Safari, Opera and Netscape.

Anyway thanks again for your help

P.S. But I want to add that for some things Evan has also a point, because with Safari and Netscape I can not access my Bank account, it only works with Explorer from a PC and with Netscape from a MAC [*-)]:
