insstrument images for logic

Where can i get good quality images of instruments to import into logic 6 - so that i can change them into .png files.....

I have tried the images from this website, but they aren't really the right size or shape!!!

Any ideas?

If you really want to personalize your icons, go to:

http://www.google.com and select the second tab ('images'). Type "musical instruments" as your search criteria. You'll literally get hundreds, though it will require some browsing and some imaginative foresight.

I'm not sure if you have Photoshop or Fireworks, but I've edited many images from Google's image gallery for a variety of purposes-- even to create custom desktop wallpaper. The image size and file format can be set exactly as you desire.

I may try to create a collection of custom ".png" images myself. Logic's default icons aren't very exciting, are they?

I'm browsing for images ready-made for Logic and have yet to run across anything. If I do, I'll let you know.

Actually - you could start with the images supplied in our Instruments Online-section ... there are small, idealized pictures for nearly every instrument.

Can you use instruments/icons in cubase. Can you link to an image of logic being used with the icons?
