The Ambience Reverb
Here´s a link to a VERY good reverb for audiounits and VST (Mac and Windows)

I have tried it with some other libraries, as I haven't got VSL yet. My first impressions were quite positive, the sound is very nice, but I find the parameters rather tricky and unfriendly. This verb is also not at all as CPU-"light" as for instance Waves RenVerb or TimeWorks 4080L.
Maybe nice for a gentle overall reverb, but hardly usable within a mixer setup requiring multiple verb instances for individual instrument groups.
I still hope of course I am completely wrong [[;)]]

I've used this 'verb for years now and it seems to be a well-kept secret. It's one of my favorites! I have some killer presets for it I'll have to share - some of which do a great job of emulating that elusive Abbey Road Studio 1 sound.
Highly recommended!

BTW
Users of Cubase can take the Roomworks-Reverb. It's more or less a Clone of Ambiance. There are several articels in the net which are telling us about this matter.
I remember the time: The forum discussions where full of Topics about "clone or not" when roomworks appeared in Cubase (SX2? or SX3?).
Fact is: Both sound similar, both got similar parameters.
All the best

Hello, I don't understand how to set up a reverb plugin (Ambience) in Vienna Ensemble. NOrmally I put the dll in the Vst folder but it doesn't work. What should I do? Thank you! Matthieu Windows 7 64bitsHi
It seems that Ambience isn't available as a 64-Bit VST for Windows...
So I believe that VE doesn't accept it
Try to use the effect outside VE.
