  • Best Sampled Choir

Hi, can anyone suggest a very good sampled choir? does VSL have a choir? the sound I'm after is like as close as I can get to something like the Choir sounds in Bram Stoker's Dracula (Kilar)

I know that this is a real live choir, but is there anything that comes close?

    thanks

    Harry

  • hehe, Crystal, love your location remark: "Old Europe" [:)]

  • Hi Harry Hansen,
in my own opinion (it's my very own opinion [:)] ) - the "East-West Quantum Leap Voices of the Apocalypse" is the best sampled choir so far. It not only contents the usual "ooohhh" and "aaahhh" stuff - they sampled lot's of vokals and consonants (I hope it's right - my english is baaaad [:)] ) - so this makes it possible to "rebuild" whole words and phrases !!! - If you are using Gigastudio, you can also download the new free "world building tool", which makes it more easier to build words etc.
The quality of this library is outstanding !

P.S. - seems one of the links above goes to the demo-site of "VotA".

  • heyy Crystal, Theiss.. thanks for your replies [:D]

I am thinking after what you and other ppl I have asked, that I will be leaning towards 'VOTA'... the demos I heard are great.. pluss the option of making my own words wow

    thanks a lot
    all the best
