I was wondering if it was planned to sample the more important percussion instruments in the same manner as the other members of the orchestra in the performance edition. For example:
For snares, timp, and mallets:
"Upbeats" in a variety of tempos/dynamics like the brass (as opposed to just "fast" or "slow" upbeats)
Repetitious phrases like 16ths and 8ths in several tempos.
And for the mallets alone, perhaps even scales in several tempos although I realize this is asking a lot for just a subtle improvement in realism.
For the harp and mallets:
Alternate notes - at least two if not three or four. For the harp this would only be necessary for moderate to fast lines with repeated notes, so it would probably be fine to sample it with a 2 sec sustain as opposed to the full natural decay.
And one last request for the strings:
Alternate notes for pizzicatos (again, at least two samples per note if not more.)
Remember, these are just suggestions, not complaints! I love this library!
