Hello to you all,
I'm not yet a VSL user, but will be in the near future - I have a couple of questions, though...
1) Is there likely to be a HALion edition? This is my primary sampler in my Mac studio.
2) Has anyone tried and had any joy in converting the Giga files to HALion?
3) Is the Performance tool a stand-alone app? Mac or PC? or does it live inside Giga/EXS24? Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere.
4) Is there any chance that we may hear any of the demos in various stages of workflow? Maybe each bounce separately, and before EQ-ing/reverbing and full Mastering? It would be interesting (for me at least) to hear the samples in their natural form - for comparison with the finished product.
current setup:
Mac Dual G4 867
2Gb RAM
60 Gb sample drive (seperate to OS and apps)
Delta 66 OS 9 and X
Cubase 5.1 and SX
HALion 1.1.3
Thank you for your time in reading/answering these questions - I may be asking more in the near future, as my studio is about to move to a better facility, and i may have to purchase some new toys - Giga/Logic...?
Peter
