    I would like to know how do you indicate the "celesta soft" in a part.

    And ... how it works ... can you ask it for a type of celesta ?

    I missed your posting.

    The Celesta soft patch, was a suggestion from Simon Ravn, inspired through the Celesta sound of John Williams "Harry Potter" score.

    Best way to define it in a score is to write "distant sounding".

    Maybe the Celesta in "Harry Potter" was also prepeared in a certain way, but I don't have any detailed informations about this.
