     Hello all! I am a recent convert to the world of Vienna. I have been a user of many libraries over the years, and after buying SE I love Vienna.  I am on a budget, and want to buy in stages. I would really like a full string package next. I was thinking of the Appasionata strings or the Chamber strings. I would be using it primarily for film, but also for occasional pop stuff as well. I would love to hear some opinions of the users of these products- their stengths and weaknesses etc. Thanks again Vienna. Please keep providing these beautifully functioning products for us.

    BOTH ARE GREAT - IF YOU PREFER THE "BIG" SOUND - CHOOSE "APASSIONATA" - I ADORE `EM. BEST ANDI SLAVIK

    The Appasionata Strings do sound good, but they are not as complete as either Chamber or Orchestral Strings. Check the articulation list carefully so that you can see what you have between SE and AP.

    I second DG's observation. I'm not sure why the App Strings have fewer articulations. Nonetheless, they sound great. Really blend well. I love 'em.

    Thanks guys. I went ahead and ordered the Appasionata String. There were good reasons to get both really.  I kinda flipped a coin. Next month I'll go chamber.Thanks.

    The Chamber Strings are excellent. You should be very happy with those.

    Now if they just had scales (runs)....
