    so, if I have a horizon lib that allows for discount on extended content - and I get the base version of the VI from a reseller - will I get the update discounted from VSL-shop?

    Or do I get the extended version discounted from the reseller. currently the discount calc does not seem to allow to select a extended version only ......

    both would be possible - if the reseller is an authorized dealer he will be able to sell you the discounted extended library or you register standard and upgrade online
