  • License Removal?

O.K. I have moved all my Vienna software to my new PC.
Used Directory Manager so everything is located by the software.

My question is ... the system does not recognize my license. Must I remove the old license and download a new one since I'm on a different computer? If so, will I run into a problem since I already registered my software in February?

I'm not sure, but do I need a second key?

I'm in the process of buying more Vienna Software. Will I need a separate key for each purchase? I hope I can put them all on one, since I will only be using one computer.

    Thanks,

    Brian

  • The licence is on the dongle. Assuming that the dongle is exactly the same as the one plugged in to your previous computer, then there are a couple of things I can suggest:

    1) Try a different USB port
    2) Make sure you have installed a recent version of the Syncrosoft Licence Control. Older ones will not recognise certain newer products.

  • Sorry, but I'm using the same Vienna Key on a computer built to run music applications. I updated all my software (including sycrosoft) and drivers.

I really need to get this up and running before the weekend!

I'm a newbie, so maybe I missed something really simple.

    Help please!

    Hi Brian,

it´s also important to use the latest VI software and to disable your firewall and anti virus programs.

    Hope this helps.

    Best,

It seems all I needed was to update my VST.

    Thanks again,
