    I've been thinking of buying the Special Edition. I got an email some months back offering a discount:

    "Registered users of Opus 1 or of the Orchestral Cubes or Performance Sets of the FIRST or PRO EDITION are eligible to purchase the Extended Library of the Vienna Special Edition at the VIP price of only EUR45/US-$60, saving EUR420/US-$535!"

    As a registered Opus 1 user, when I try to use the discount calculator it comes back with a price of UK£260... a bit more than EUR 45... Can anyone explain?

    That product has 2 libraries (as do most of the others) - standard and extended. You buy the standard library at full price, then you get the discount on the extended part of the library only.
