Try using the harmonium in place of the accordion, it works great, especially if the passage is written and played in accordion style I doubt one could say it's not an accordion playing. In my libraries it's now my 1st choice when I need accordion passage mainly because it does NOT sound synthetic. It also makes sense since the mechanism between the two have a lot in common.
