    ...needed an authorization code today immeditately...on a deadline...
    thought I was sunk for the weekend. Sent off an email anyway and heard

    you're welcome ... just to explain: our webserver is a differnt machine and within another network than our mailserver, so by the time when mail restrictions strenghtened because of the huge amount of spam and fakes it gets more difficult to get those automated emails through ...

    around mid-september we are planning a major transition of infrastructure and i'm sure there will be a lot of things not working as expected at the first go - you're already supposing: i'm asking for your patience in advance [;)]

    the good news: we are changing the forum software with new options and a really working search function - also we like to syncronize the logins for the forum and the user area.

    there will be opened a seperate and more detailed topic for all this.

    VSL's tech support is second to none. They've helped me out with technical issues on several occasions, each time promptly and efficiently. A big thank you to all the technical staff, whose attitude to their products - and to their users - clearly goes well beyond the call of duty!

    I like to read how such VI problems are resolved, even if they don't affect me directly. So to anyone who posts a technical problem here and subsequently finds a solution, please share the fix with us all! Thank you.
