I strongly recommend this book.

I have it in the Italian version (published in 1983, now it's out of stock). I don't know if an English edition is available, but it is worth searching for...

I think it's more likely Bach was rubbed out by one of his twenty-odd children. Probably the oddest. Who was that? PDQ?
