  • VI and Sibelius

    Hi All,

Was wandering how well VI and Sibelius are integrated with each other.
Especially the integration with the serious VI libraries (standard/extended/full).

I use Nuendo for post production, but like Sibelius more for composing issues. Perhaps some of you recommend just using Nuendo also as a score writer; but somehow Sibelius feels more serious, plus the printing is fabulous. Anyway, I'm open for suggestions.

    Thanks all!

  • Emanuel,

    welcome [:)]

do a search of the forum for Sibelius and you will find lots of discussion.

Yes many people are using Sibelius with VSL. The recent release of Sibelius5 takes a big step forward in integrating the two. You should also visit the Sibelius Tech Forum where again there is lots of discussion.

This particular thread is very interesting although it's author is persona non grata hereabouts [[:|]]

I think you can view the tech forum but have to be a registered user to participate. I think!

Please feel free to ask any particular questions. there are lots of helpful people hanging out here.

I had suggested to VSL there should be a sub-forum for VSL and notation software. Perhaps it needs a few more people to push that idea.

  • This is a huge area of interest for me with the possibilities that are opening up with the Sibelius 5.0. I know that Evan Evans is doing complete film scoring projects now with that combo.
