Hi folks,
I have the VSL special edition extended library (at least I will have when they send me the activation code for the extension!). And I have a question, not a stupid one I hope, about the Konzerthaus organ.
It seems that when playing on a standard 88 key piano keyboard the lowest couple of octaves are not mapped and you need to keyswitch to get the lowest octaves. The keyswitch loads another manual or the bass pedals I guess. Whilst this probably is true to life, is there any way of making all 88 or 87 keys map to the appropriate samples so it can be played like a piano without having to keyswitch to get the bass notes. This would allow organ pieces that have been arranged for piano to be played from the music as written (I am a pianist and no organist I'm afraid). This would also allow bass notes and higher notes to be played at the same time, which thinking about it I am sure you must be able to do - so I must be missing something. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.
Regards
Steve
