  • What does "All single note articulations" mean?

I do not have a copy VSL SE, but I'm wondering what that phrase means in the articulation list. It confuses me especially because the solo strings have no phrase like that listed in their articulation list.

  • Hello Elan,

this phrase is used for the ensemble patches - it means that all the single notes articulations you find in the patches of the seperate sections (violins, violas, cellos, doublebasses) are contained in these patches, that are spread across the keyboard.

    Best,

    Paul

  • I read what you said very carefully but I still don't quite understand what you're saying.

I'm guessing you mean that there's presets with keyswitching which include all single-note articulations? Then again I don't know the difference between single-note articulations and multiple-note articulations if there's such a thing.

  • single note articulations contain *single notes* opposed to performance elements which always contain a transition from one note to another (in case of repetition same note but other sample)
david will correct me if the wording is incorrect, christian
