  • BÖSENDORFER IMPERIAL

    Hello Everyone,

I finally have seen and heard the light of VSL products. I heard the demo of BÖSENDORFER IMPERIAL, also they sound great but i have not seen anyone talk about it. Or how it works in the new Software Instrument tool. This will be my first VSL collection and I hope not the last. I'v seen and played Ivory, so I'm guess Im wanting to know how big of a difference are the controls. Because with Ivory all you have to do is load preset and play. Is it the the same in VSL. Or is there a big learning curve. Also i know East/West has there new piano comming out. But i know with VSL i will have more control. Or i could be wrong. I'm useing logic pro. So i will be useing there plug-ins to enhance the sound. I always here people talk about quilty when it comes to VSL. So I thought i buy my first piano sound from a company that only produces quilty samples. Thanks again.

  • The Borsendorfer is easy to use. You just load the preset and everything works exactly, you just play.

There are a couple of choices to load either the distant mic version or the close mic version, or to load with the sustain pedal recordings or without (one uses more ram and processing than the other) but basically, very simple. I would say more simple than Ivory and I've used both.

    Miklos.
