    Hello all,

    I've succesfully registered my new VI (special edition) on the website and downloaded the new license onto the usb key using the "License Control Centre"

    Everything looks fine, but when I run the VI "Library Installer" it tells me that I need a "Special Edition License" to install the library from the DVD.

    I succesfully installed Vienna Strings a few months ago, but this time I having problems and can't see why.

    Can anyone advise me please?

    welcome bradmiles, this sounds as if you would also need a newer version of the Vienna Instruments software from here - the current version is 1.11

    just for security and because we don't know on which OS you are - please reboot before updating

    edit: current version is of course 1.11
    and remember: only a CRAY can run an endless loop in just three seconds.
