    The old Pro Edition on sale is tempting, so I just have a question:
    If I buy Pro Performance tool...
    And I already have
    1/Full VSL special edition
    2/Full solo strings
    3/Full Saxophone
    4/Standard VSL Chamber Strings
    5/Standard appassionata
    6/Horizone's Concert Guitar
    In discount calculator, If I have Performance tool, I'll have free extended special edition [which I already registered]
    So, will VSL give me credit toward future purchase [such as extended Appassionata strings] ? will this thing [give me a credit for what I already buy] ever happen?
    I am quite serious about buying the performance tool so VSL, please give me an answer!
    If it's a "yes" I'll buy it without thinking twice
    If it's a "no" then I'll give up this plan
    Buying extended Special edition was the worse purchase because I already have many instruments in ED [well, consider only the good one such as Sax, Appassionata, chamber strings, concert Guitar]
    I hope VSL people will look at my case and make me satisfy [:)]

    too bad - discounts can only apply for instruments which are in your registered sample libraries. neither chamber strings nor saxophones are in the pro edition .... but check out if it wouldn't be clever to purchase horizon series chamber strings and/or saxophones ...

    btw: you are referring rather to the performance _set_ than the performance _tool_

    Honestly, I probably will never use Performance set, if I buy it, I buy for the VIP tag to get discount for future purchase. Many people offer me a copy of performance set but I turned down and thinking about buying instead.
    The Chamber string is a godd idea, I'll buy it now and could do the same to performance set if you can give me free extended Appassionata Strings [instead of extended Special edition/which I already paid- yeah, it's a direct offer, you can say that [[;)]] )

    Never mind then, thanks for the response
    To keep user "loyal", VSL must have more flexible way to keep customer
    For one, no upgrade patch from Special edition is not flexible...

    I think what Christian was politely trying to say is that if they change the rules for you, they would have to do it for everyone and that's not possible.

    It's not like you are being forced to buy what's currently on offer. Why not simply extend your standard packages, rather than spending all that money on the Performance Set? I'm not sure it adds up.
