  • Logic 7.2.3 and Vienna Instruments

    Hi everyone,
Just having a problem with logic at the moment and was wondering if anybody here could help! When I load up an instance of VI in logic (7.2.3, OS 10.4.10) the name of the instrument in the arrange window is always just 'Untiltled' - I would like to be able to change this to help me identify instruments as I can with other plugins such as Kontakt etc! If anybody needs any more details in order to unstand my issue please do not hesitate to ask!

    Many Thanks

    Luke

  • There are two things that be helpful to you.

    1. Name the track by using the "create track name" command on Track menu which is at the top left of the Arrange Window. If you do this before recording, the recorded track wll also be named correspondingly. (If you do it after recording the tracks just get named "Inst 1 or Inst 2 etc.)

    2. Using the drop down menu below the "Bypass" button the VI control panel (The small panel with the "Show Window" button), you can use the "Save Setting" command. The name appears on the top of the control panel enabling you to identify what instrument or matrix is loaded in a particular instance of the VI player.

  • thanks! the first step did it!
