Hello - I am running the cube and performance tool on Gigastudio and had a couple of fairly basic (stupid?) questions as I do not have a manual for another week or so and am trying to get a job done before then. Is it possible to alter the tempo of the repetition samples (e.g. to use the 140bpm violins in a piece at 136bpm) - I am told this can be done with the Performance Tool, but need help! Also can someone explain the Release Trigger to me. It sounds useful, but damned if I know how it works. Even after 1 week's use, I am reeling at the brilliance of this library - well done. Didn't think the solo violin demo was quite up to the standard of most other instruments, though i know solo strings are probably the toughest nut to crack..... One last question - any hints for fast string passages and making them as convincing as possible? Sorry to ask so many questions and thank you for such an amazing product, Best, Simon Lacey[/b]

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction. I also found the same question elsewhere on the forum from "Clem" and a very useful explanation in reply from Herb. I have now got the repetition tool working at various tempos and it sounds mightily impressive. Thank you.
