Please let me know how many velociry layer in special brass. specially, it is important that perf-Legato patch's layer.
Frankly speaking, I need only 6-trumpets patch at the special brass. cornet, alto trumbone and euphonium are useless, their are MINOR instruments. (even euphonium is majorly used in America's big band)
Is it sure that if I will pay 1000$ for 6-trumpet only, I want to need specific information and superior qulity?
I expect 6-trumpet has over 3 V-layers at legato patches.
Saying my arguements at this chance. All of patches must have over 3 V-layer because it is required for manifestation instrument's expressioin.
Unfortunately, V-layer of almost Perf-legato patches has only 2 layers.
It isn't enought to mock up instrument's expression. I think legato patches should have at last THREE v-layer. reason why, TWO V-layer makes serious overlapping effect when V-crossfading.
On top of that, over 50% of music part use 'mp' of 'mf' velocity, only having 'p' and 'f' velocity quite useless in 50% music parts. (unfortunately, 'f' velocities of brass legato patches didn't has enought power, it seems 'mf' velocity)
From these perspective, 'flute2 perf-legato grace' patch is the best. it has 3 velocities and perfect playing. flute1's legato grace patch sounds are curious. I never heard playing flute like that. Also alto flute's legato grace is same as flute1's legato grace, even if their has 3 velocities, it's sounds are horrible. however normal legato in alto flute is wonderful!. It is perfect sound but ther are only 2 layers.
I hope 6-trp has over 3 layer legato patches. other instruments at special brass have nothing to do. If 6-trp has over 3 layers as satisfactive quility, I don't grudge 1000$ for only 6-trp.
