  • Individual user's manuals for VIs?

I am trying to find manuals for the VIs I bought (Brass, Woodwinds, Solo Strings and Chamber Strings - standard and extended libraries). I would like to find something that explains each articulation in detail. There are some articulations that are abbreviated and I have no idea what they are. For example: in the chamber cellos - "12 VC-3_sus_Vib_fA_Auto". What does "fA" refer to and what does "auto" mean in this context?

I was quite surprised and disappointed that each library didn't come with a detailed booklet as did the older VSL libraries. If these are available for download somewhere, please let me know.

    Thank you,
    Mike

  • I agree. I'd like to know those as well, and I'd also like a complete listing on what the specific articulation means (such as Sul_G) even if it's obvious and I might already know it (stacatto)

    Hi,

did you already check your manuals in the User Area?

The information you requested, Astro, is explained on page 56 of the Chamber Strings Manual [:)], and you find a list of all abbreviations on page 8 of the Chamber Strings Manual.

    Hope this helps [:)]

    Best,

    Paul

This is why we were asking, Paul. The files are rather well embedded so I didn't even know they were there! [:)] Thanks for the info.
