    Whenever I load a Special Edition sound and open the patch assign, it flickers back and forth between different articulations It won't stay on one articulation What could be causing this? I am not playing any keyswitch keys, sustain pedal, or using any of the pitch bend wheels. It's doing it on its own.

    I am using this in GarageBand (don't laugh, my new Intel Mac won't run Tracktion and I cannot afford a legit host right now). It is having the same problem when I run the standalone so I know it's not the host.

    What's strange is everything was working fine until today. I've done a few reboots to no avail.

    Update, I unplugged my MIDI cable and it stopped flickering, so I know it's MIDI related. I know I have the latest M-Audio drivers for my interface. I don't know what else to do.

    eric, have you tried to check with a midi monitor if something is sending signals or you have a midi loop somewhere?

    I am a blockhead. After further review, my modulation wheel was indeed turned up. I never use it so somehow I accidently knocked into it with something without realizing it. Problem solved. [:D]
