  • Buying single instruments...

    Hi to everyone!

Sorry I'm allmost sure that I saw answer to this question somewhere here, but now I can't find it. Oh well. Just bought VSL Special edition and totaly fell in love with it. My question is that since it is possible (isn't it?) to buy single instruments from extended edition, where I can find prices for the single instruments?

  • welcom cosmob83,
i'm sorry to say single instruments from extended libraries are only available for collections from the Symphonic Cube (V01 - V10)

  • CM,

really...I need to buy some single-pro edition stuff!

Where is this web-shop link to do this?
    The site is confusing....

  • SvK, do you mean the Finger cymbals or the miscellaneous bells? ... no problem - send me your credit card details, i'll charge it for a few hundred $$$ and email you back the instruments [:P]

  • CM....

    seriously,

Is it possible to buy just the Bass_Clarinet from the pro-edition?

(why not do that?......no packaging needed...just server space)

  • Single instruments is something that is under-supported especially given the fact that it was something that was promoted with the introduction of VI's. The feature to buy a single instrument via an online option has been not there "yet" for a very long time.

Again, as I said in another post it feels like just another way to coerce people into buying more than they need by making it quite a process to fax a CC# and instrument #'s etc... It's so convoluted a process that most wouldn't even mess with it.

  • well, basically i'd love the idea to sell the stuff rather online than to watch it getting downloaded from somewhere else ... but to have pro edition and horizon series *in stock* would mean ~800 GB extra space.
in your special case: why not get the complete brass&woodwinds in a first step, discounts on VI B&W extended would pay off later ...

that i don't have free slots to add 1.6 TB (for redundancy) harddisk space currently ... [:P]

  • cm,

Are u saying that VIenna will forgo making "oodles" of extra cash because of lacking server space ???!!!
