  • Sprung for Extended Library

Yeah, I got some money back from my taxes this year and immediately sprung for the Extended library for Vienna SE. Very nice. Very nice indeed. Some of the instruments I really didn't check out fully because I didn't know if I could afford this l;ibrary so I held off until now.

However, I didn't receive a confirmation email. Luckily I copy/pasted the registration # and updated my Steinberg key with no problems but I wouldn't have minded an email back-up. Weird.

Once again, I'm really happy I jumped into VSL with this library. I've spent hours investigating all of the wonderful sounds and will continue to do so.

  • cool to see someone from milton [:D] i'm from hamilton.

i must say, i was thinking VSL was way out of my price range, but with the SE, i'm thinking i should make the move! looks very solid!

Yeah, it definitely was worth it for me. I initially thought I wouldn't be able to purchase the Extended Library but I got a nice fat tax return so I was able to spring for it in the end. I'm pretty glad too since I use a lot of the extended instruments (I love the Epic Horns but then again I love French horns).

I think Long & McQuade could get this in (there's one close to you at Lakeshore Music in Burlington) although I treked all the way to Thornhilll to buy the initial library at Cosmo music. Luckily I also own a Steinberg key so I didn't have to buy the Vienna Key. Christian was good enough to spot this in one of my posts and sent me a trial license for the EXtended instruments (they come bundled with the Vienna SE library). From there on I knew I had to buy it.

Oh, Saved by Technology also carries VSL stuff and stocks them too.
