    When I log in and try to access the Discount Calculator, I get the below error message. (I've tried three browsers on both a Mac and PC and get the same results.) How can I go about buying Level 2 codes for a Vienna Instrument I already own?

    Hey Michael:

    I've called ilio directly and they've taken care of it over the phone. Others have contacted Best Service. I couldn't get the Extendeds from my local merchant and have never been able to do a purchase directly from the VSL page.... at least that was the case when I was shopping for these sounds.

    Thanks for the quick response! My only concern is that I might miss out on some non-obvious discount or promotional rate. (I own the old Pro Edition one of the Horizon series.) Or perhaps this is a nonissue - do you know whether there any discounts other than the ones that are explicitly announced on the VSL homepage?

    They will have access to your info and will be able to calculate and explain the discounts according to what you already have registered. They've been (ilio) really cool about taking care of it in a matter of minutes.

    I had no problems with any of the known discounts and special offers. Part of these authorizations take place while registering on the VSL site-- which tells you right away what has been activated.

    I poked around this site further and discovered that although the Discount Calculator interface doesn't work, it's still possible to purchase the Extended codes by going to the page for the particular product. (There's a link there to the online store.) Instant results, and omits sales tax.
